Are these daydreams worth celebrating, or are they unnecessary and illogical? “Out of Office” is a group art exhibition curated by Tami Han, presenting six artists from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Each artwork speaks to an individual’s daydream or idle thought that may be perceived as useless in today’s productivity-oriented and fast paced society, embodied in the office itself. Juxtaposed against the conservative office setting, where getting lost in thoughts not related to work is regarded as inappropriate, this exhibition celebrates dreaminess and imagination.
